I resisted Bambu for a while. I spent years tuning Ender 3s and Prusas. The A1 changed my mind in about 15 minutes. You unbox it, plug it in, and within 10 minutes it has auto-leveled, auto-calibrated flow, auto-tuned resonance, and is ready to print a benchmark model. It's the Apple of 3D printers.

The AMS lite (multi-material unit) is the other game-changer. Four spools of different colors, automatic filament swapping mid-print, and surprisingly reliable. You'll start printing things in multi-color just because you can.

Downsides: it's not open-source, it uploads print data to the cloud (you can turn this off with a firmware flash but it's a pain), and replacement parts go through Bambu rather than the standard Creality ecosystem. For most people, none of that matters. You want prints that work. You press print. They work.
